ANOTHER GREAT REGION 70 NIGHT
It was once again nice to see so many new faces watching what was a really informative talk by James.
His methods for catching big pike were there for all to see and I for one walked away with a few extra tips under my belt for the next time I go pike fishing. James clearly enjoys his fishing wether he catches a big fish or not and his talk included his early pike fishing days where he developed the rigs he uses today.
The one really good thing was they are simple to use and clearly work with fish up to 38lb boated.
The raffle on the night was filled with some top of the range prizes with most in the room winning something.
A big thanks goes out to James for his excellent talk and to all those that attended.
Roll on the next one!!!

The region has over the season gone from strength to strength and we are really looking forward to next seasons round of guest speakers already.
We also hope to have a couple of fish-ins booked as well for everyone to enjoy.

JOHN SYNNUCK & STEVE GOULD COME TO SUSSEX
Both are exceptional anglers with a vast array of specimen predatory fish to their names. As well as their piking exploits there's a foreign twist with Tarpon from the Florida keys, Mahseer from India and the giant wells catfish getting a mention too.
I am reliably informed this is one of the best predator talks going, one not to be missed.Normal venue being the Kings Head, starting at 8 O'Clock so be there early.
This will round up the region for the 07/08 season so We look forward to seeing you there.

* ANDY LUSH GUEST SPEAKER NIGHT*

Thursday, February 14, 2008
ANDY FROST TALK WEDNESDAY 13TH FEBRUARY
It was Andy's first ever talk, and have got to say he is one of the best speakers we have had down to the region. The flavour of the talk being pike fishing in Norfolk past and present.
Andy's knowledge of the many rivers and broads is second to none and those in the audience were treated to well presented and at times humorous stories of Andy's exploits fishing these reknowned waters.
